It’s been great to learn more about the value that user research can bring to products and services, and consider the large range of methods for research that you can use to discover these valuable insights. I now feel inspired to try out some new methods…

Excess deaths between March 2020 and June 2022

Recently, the Office for National Statistics shared the latest statistics for excess death in England and Wales from the period that Covid-19 deaths were first recorded in the UK, whihc offers a breakdown by age, sex and geography. It highlights how different areas were disproportionately impacted by Covid, and that while everyone had to adapt, the challenge for some local authorities was even greater than others.
